A star rating tells you they have clients. It does not tell you if those clients are making money.
OPTIMZD reviews (2026): what they say and how to actually read them
OPTIMZD shows a 4.8 from 42 reviews, all on their own site. Here is what they actually prove, and how to read any agency's reviews before you sign.
- 12,000+PMax campaigns audited
- 200+Live ecom clients
- €200M+Tracked sales
OPTIMZD has a 4.8 out of 5 from 42 reviews, all published on their own site, optimzd.io. The reviews are real and the rating is genuine. The real question is not whether they exist. It is how much weight to give a rating that sits on a page the agency controls.
Quick disclosure: I run ZenoX Media, and we compete directly with OPTIMZD. That is on the table from the first line. The numbers below are theirs, from their own site.
Where OPTIMZD reviews live
OPTIMZD publishes their rating and reviews directly on optimzd.io. They hold Google Partner status and list 100+ clients. All of those numbers come from their own site.
I looked for a second source, and I could not find an independent OPTIMZD profile on Trustpilot, Google Business, or Clutch. Their reviews live on optimzd.io, a page they control. That is common for agencies and it is not a red flag. It just means there is no outside platform checking who gets to post. Worth a quick search yourself before you decide, because a review on ground the agency manages carries less weight than one on a platform it does not run.
How to read any agency's reviews
This is the part a star rating cannot tell you.
Before you hand your budget to any agency, run these four checks.
How many reviews? 42 is real data. 6 is not enough to draw a line. The bigger the number, the closer it sits to the real average.
Own site or independent platform? A review on Trustpilot, Google Business, or Clutch is harder to control than one on the agency's own site. An independent platform adds a check the agency did not put there. That matters when real money is on the line.
Do the reviews mention money? Most agency reviews talk about communication and responsiveness. Those things matter. But you want reviews that mention actual outcomes. "We went from €3,000 a day to €12,000 in four months" carries more weight than "they are lovely to work with." Both can be true. One is more useful.
Are clients named on camera? Anonymous reviews are fine. A named client - real name, real face, real business - is harder to fake. It also means the client was comfortable enough with their result to put their name on it publicly.
What OPTIMZD's reviews tell you - and what they cannot
A 4.8 from 42 clients tells you the people who worked with them and left a review were satisfied. That counts.
What it cannot tell you is the profit story. It cannot tell you scale - whether those brands grew from €500 a day to €2,000, or from €30,000 to €100,000. It cannot tell you whether the ROAS numbers turned into real money in the bank.
That is not a knock on OPTIMZD. It is the honest limit of what any star rating can carry, no matter whose site it sits on.
What deeper proof looks like
I want to be upfront: this section is about ZenoX, and I own ZenoX. Apply the same four checks to what I say below.
At ZenoX, proof depth means named clients on camera - real people willing to put their face and business name to the result. Real revenue numbers from real Google Ads screenshots. A Trustpilot profile on a platform we do not run. And 200+ brands and €200M+ in revenue generated, from real account data.
We also run a free first month. Not a free audit, not a free call - a full month of actual work. You see what we do before you pay.
None of that replaces your own homework. But it is the kind of proof that holds up when you push on it.
Before you sign with anyone - us included - push on it. Who are the clients? What are the revenue numbers? Where is the proof that does not live on their own site?
