What is Kairos Exchange?
Kairos Exchange is our marketplace for buying and selling ecommerce stores. Every listing's revenue is verified against the store's own order data before buyers see it. We built it at ZenoX - the team that manages the ad accounts behind €200M+ in tracked ecom sales. Kairos is Greek for 'the right moment'. Listing and verification are free; Kairos charges a success fee only when a deal closes.

Store marketplaces earn their money when you list - not when your numbers turn out to be true. So inflated revenue, bot traffic, and screenshot accounting slip through. And here is the part that costs sellers real money: buyers know it, so they price that risk into every single offer.

Connect the data, read-only
Sellers link Shopify, and Google Ads if they run it. Eight automated checks run against real orders - revenue match, refund rate, ad-spend coherence, traffic mix, and more. A written memo comes out the other side.

Buyers unlock the full picture
One NDA, then a refundable EUR 250 deposit unlocks the full financials. Every unlocked document is fingerprinted, so a leak can be traced to its copy.

Close through escrow
Funds sit with a licensed escrow provider - never in a Kairos account. Money releases only when the purchase agreement is signed and every asset on the handover checklist is confirmed.

Data Verified, free forever
Eight automated checks against real Shopify orders, plus weekly re-checks. A listing that drifts more than 20% from its published numbers gets flagged and re-reviewed.
Kairos Verified for bigger deals
On stores at EUR 100k and up, a human analyst reads the raw source data line by line, interviews the seller on record, and confirms every asset transfers. EUR 2,500 to 5,000, credited back at close.
Fees only when a deal closes
5% self-serve with a EUR 500 minimum, or 12% full-service on the first EUR 500k and 9% above. If a deal never closes, you never owe anything.
Escrow on every deal
A licensed third-party provider holds the funds. The release rule is published, and Kairos never touches the money.
