What does Simprosys actually do for my Google Shopping feed, and is it worth using?

The short answer

Simprosys connects your Shopify store to Google Merchant Center and pushes your products across on a set schedule. It is lightweight, built for Shopify, and it does that plumbing job well. What it does not do is decide what your titles should say. ZenoX has clients on Simprosys and clients on other feed tools, and the words in the feed are what move money.

What it actually does

Simprosys is a feed app. It sits between your Shopify store and Google Merchant Center, pulls your products out of Shopify, and pushes them into Merchant Center on a schedule, usually twice a day. You keep editing products in Shopify like normal and the app carries the changes across. When someone says 'resync the feed', they mean forcing that push to happen now instead of waiting for the next run.

It is built for Shopify and it is light. For most stores that is genuinely all you need from a feed app. The connection works, the products land, the schedule holds.

What it does not do

It does not tell you what your title should say. No feed app does. A feed app is plumbing: it moves data from A to B. Whether the data is any good is a separate job, and it is the job that decides whether you make money.

A feed app can carry a brilliant title or a supplier's generic junk title with exactly the same reliability. That is the part people get wrong when they shop for feed tools. They compare apps when the thing costing them money is the copy going through them.

When another tool fits better

It depends on what needs fixing. DataFeedWatch gives more control over attribute mapping and rule building, which is why ZenoX reaches for it on deeper feed work like fixing missing colour, size, or gender across a catalogue. MultiFeed earns its place when a store sells into several countries and needs a separate feed per market.

ZenoX has clients running on Simprosys and clients running on other apps, and we do not resell any of them. The right tool depends on your store setup. If your feed already flows and your titles are the problem, switching apps changes nothing. Fix the titles.
