Is $100 Enough to Start Dropshipping?

The short answer
No, $100 is not enough to start dropshipping with ads. It covers a domain and a bit of store software, and then it is gone. A real Google Ads test needs about 50 euros a day for 30 days, roughly 1,500, because Google needs 30 to 50 sales to learn. ZenoX uses that same floor across 200+ ecom brands.
What $100 really buys
A domain, a month or two of store software, and maybe one app. That is the whole list, and none of it brings a single visitor.
The part people skip is that a store with no traffic is not a business yet, it is a website. The money that turns it into a business is the ad budget, and $100 does not reach it. On the floor most stores need, $100 is about two days.
What a real ad test costs
Google Ads has a floor that has nothing to do with ambition. Smart Bidding learns from conversions, and a campaign needs roughly 30 to 50 of them to get through the learning phase and settle down.
That is why we plan a first test at about 50 euros a day for 30 days, close to 1,500 in total. Treat it as money you have already decided to lose. Two hundred spread thin over a month does not buy a slower version of that test. It buys a campaign that never leaves learning and teaches you nothing.
The best thing to do with your first $100
Spend it on the parts of the store that cost nothing but time, so that when the real budget arrives it is not wasted.
Get your own product photos instead of the supplier's. Write real titles and descriptions rather than pasting the supplier text. Add a proper contact page and shipping and returns policies that match your feed exactly. Get through Merchant Center review before you have a budget on the line. That work is free, it is what gets products approved, and it is the difference between a 1,500 test that teaches you something and one that dies on disapprovals.
What to save up to
Two numbers. About 1,500 for the ad test, and enough margin room in the product that a cost per sale can fit under it.
If saving 1,500 takes four months, use those four months on the store, the photos, and the supplier. The store that starts its test already approved, with clean titles and real photos, gets more out of the same money than one that starts the day the money lands.
