Where Can I Find Training on Google Ads?

The short answer
You can find Google Ads training at Google's Skillshop, in Google Ads Help, on YouTube and in Skool groups. Start with Skillshop, which has no cost as of 5 November 2026. Then learn on a live account with a small budget. We run the ZenoX Google Ads eCom Lab at $9 a month for product sellers, so weigh our bias.

Start With Google
Skillshop is Google's own training, and Google says it "is available at no cost". We checked that on 5 November 2026. Its main certifications cover Search, Display, Video, Shopping and Apps. Google Ads Help sits next to it and explains each feature in Google's words.
Google teaches what its tools do. It also sells the ads, so it will not tell you which settings to ignore for your store.
YouTube
YouTube is good for watching someone build an account. Ours is a 4h 23m video, free to watch on YouTube. It is a dropshipping build, not a lesson from our paid group.
Check the date on any video. Google now says "Google Display Ads campaigns are moving to Demand Gen", so an old Display tutorial may already be out of date.
Skool Groups
Skool groups add people who answer your questions. These numbers come from each group's about page, read on 5 November 2026.
Google Ads Dropshipping, by Theo Clarke: 8,108 members and 6 courses, no price shown.
Google Ads Skool, by Rob Andolina: 5,213 members and 16 courses, no price shown.
Google Ads Domination: 1,225 members and 12 courses, $98 a month.
Google Ads eCom Lab, ours: 1,700+ members, 18 courses, 196 lessons. Standard is $9 a month.
We own the last one, so read this list with that in mind. Two of these groups are bigger than ours, and size is not the only test.
#1 Google Ads Community on Skool: #1 of 271 groups when you search google ads on Skool (5 November 2026). That is Skool's own search order, not size.
How to Pick
Match the training to what you sell. The eCom Lab is for people selling products online. If you sell calls or bookings for a service, it is not built for you, and Google Ads Skool fits better.
Then check three things. Does the person teaching run live accounts now? Is the material recent? Can you ask about your own account? A course shows you the steps. A group can answer questions about your own account.
