What this video teaches

Chris shares four principles that take a new dropshipping store to its first $1K day on Google Ads. It is for beginners still spending 50 to 150 a day. Keep the setup simple, make the offer strong, decide on data instead of emotion, and treat the whole thing as a numbers game.

The Takeaways

  1. 01At 50, 100 or 150 a day you buy very little data in Google's eyes, so keep the setup simple and nail the fundamentals first.
  2. 02The fundamentals are good tracking, a small lean feed of well-researched products, and a few products with a real chance to pick up.
  3. 03In the early stage you optimize for signal, not maximum profit: gather data, get out of the learning phase, then scale.
  4. 04The offer is the main lever early on: the product, the price, and everything that builds trust and takes away the risk of buying.
  5. 05Never cut a product after five clicks. Cut it when the data says so, for example 50 euros spent, way over your CPA, and no sale.
  6. 06Google Ads dropshipping is a numbers game: even clients with 30 or 40 stores see wildly different results from store to store.

0:00How to get to $1K/day

How do we get you to 1K a day and above with Google Ads drop shipping with your first store but also every single time consistently and predictably? That's what we will talk about today and I will show you in four simple steps how we achieve that. No YouTube fluff. I'm not a guru. I don't have a coaching. We will show you like four actionable steps. And how do I know it works? Because I'm Chris and I run ZenoX Media, one of the biggest Google Ads agency for Google Ads drop shippers who work with over 300 stores and just in the past 2 years alone, we managed to generate over 200 million in revenue for clients just purely with Google Ads drop shipping.

So, without further ado, let's dive straight into it. By the way, stay tuned throughout this video. I'm also sharing one of my favorite principles today cuz it applies to every store regardless of the revenue level, regardless of the niche, regardless of the market you are operating in. So, it's kind of like this

1:00Principle 1 - Keep it simple with low budgets

overarching principle that will definitely get you to 1K a day. So, stay tuned. But we will start with principle number one, which is also highly important. A lot of you guys still don't get it. It's keep it simple in the beginning. Why? You're not at 1K revenue a day yet, which means you're operating with a low daily ad spend, right? Probably you spend around 50, 100, 150 a day. Doesn't matter. It might seem like a lot for you, right? But in in the eyes of Google, that's nothing, right? That's a very insignificant ad spend, a very insignificant revenue to Google. It doesn't buy you a lot of data, right?

So, you have to understand that you have to look at it and be like, "Okay, that's that's nothing." Why is that important? Because a lot of you guys, you're hungry, you want to get there quickly. You try to optimize every single aspect, right? You test thousands of products, you test different campaigns, but you cannot even do that because you don't have the budget. You have to really keep it simple, focus on the fundamentals, which means good tracking in place, a small lean feed with well-optimized product research, a couple of winning products where they have a high probability of picking up, right? Highly relevant. It's important not to have like like I said already like thousands different campaigns.

You optimize on signal first. It's not the goal to maximize profit yet, right? That's also important. Because again, we are working with insignificant budget. We want to gather a lot of data first. We want to optimize everything first. We want to break out of the learning phase. Be profitable so we can scale to higher budget levels because with higher budget levels you can buy more data way way quicker. And then you can make some moves, right? Then you can test it, but then you can split up campaigns, then you can do all

2:49Principle 2 - It's all about the offer

of that. In the beginning you have to nail the fundamentals first. The second principle that's absolutely key is that it's all about the offer. It's all about the offer especially in those early stages, right? A lot of you guys you over complicated it. You're like, "Oh, I need to do some high-level SEO. I need to optimize my page speed. I need to find a better media buyer, right?" But the truth is in these beginning stages, right? The media buying is rarely your main leverage. That's also why we with our agency we only work with stores that are big already and generating at least 1 to K a day because then we know everything we do with our work is much more impact at this point, right?

Now we also have our software coming up, which is also quite interesting. But either way, the bottom line is it's all about the offer because a lot of you guys you set up random stores with random products and you're like, "I want to make some money now, right?" But like everything is absolutely We take this store here as an example. I think it was a store we managed in the past, but I just want you understand a couple of things. What does offer mean, right? A lot of you guys think it's just like the price or just the product. But the offer is like everything you are offering basically, right?

And the way you're offering it, the way you're presenting it. So it obviously starts with the product, right? Is it genuinely a relevant product, a desirable product for this season, and pricing is absolutely key as well, right? We always say Google Ads is a price comparison platform and it's obviously one of these like main aspects of your offer. Because if this jacket now costs 10x the price, it's like, okay, not interesting for for most people, right? Or it needs a completely different kind of marketing. But anyway, that seems to make sense, right? We have the the sale going on, that's also interesting, of course. To keep it very simple for you to look at your own store and be like, hey, is this good or not?

In its most purest, simple form, you want to increase the probability to buy and decrease everything that would block them and push them away from buying, right? So you want to increase trust, you want to remove anxiety, you want to increase the guarantees, you want to remove the risk, right? Cuz if I look at this and I'm like, okay, I like the product, I like the price, still doesn't mean I'm buying, right? Because it then it comes to the trust thing, for example, okay, how does it look like? 30-day easy returns means decreasing the risk, higher probability of buying, you will have higher conversion rate, potentially even higher AOV, right?

Size chart is good, right? So like I understand, okay, this this is this makes sense for me, so I'm not worried about that. Free shipping, also cool, I like that. One of our best sellers, right? It's like very subtle um social proof that this is like popular product. Cool. So that side is quite well optimized. Let's see at the cart. Yeah, there you can do a little bit better, right? And that there comes back to like optimizing the side as well. Having maybe like some upsells here or cross-sells or like a shipping insurance, getting the most out of it, right? And then you have instead of a AOV of like 50 pounds, you might go to 80, 90.

And that makes a huge difference, right? Like all those like little steps on the website, especially if your ROAS is kind of like on the verge already, right? If you're like, "Ah, my ROAS is okay, but it's not great." Well, how do you make it great? It's like those little steps that add up and then you have suddenly way better profit margin you can scale with way quicker. And that makes all the difference, right? Especially in this beginning stages, like I said, you need to fight for every conversion, you need to to get some data in, you need to make some

6:30Principle 3 - Data over emotions, always

sales first. Everything goes better at a higher level once you have some momentum. Principle number three is data over emotions, always, right? You never want to be swayed by your emotions and that's where most beginners genuinely kill their store because they are hungry, they want to scale, they want to they want to make some moves, you know, they want to optimize everything, but it's always based on emotions and that's why they make a lot of mistakes and that's why they run in circles. It always leads to poor decision-making, right? So, you need to be very cool-headed, you need to be very patient, especially in these beginning phases.

It's not about like, "Hey, I want to do some work, I need to optimize everything." It's more about like, "Okay, you launched the campaign, you have to lean back a little bit now. You have to give it some time, right? You have to be patient." And then when you start to optimize, when you see, "Hey, this kind of product works well, let's do more of that." When you see, "This kind of product does work well, let's cut it." It has to be based on data, right? Because we often see like product gets five clicks with high CPC and you remove it directly from the store, right?

Based on five clicks. It might have been a potential future winner, right? And if you do that at scale now, and you do that with every product like, "Oh, five clicks, I'm not really happy. Like, I see my friend has a store, it got one sale after five clicks already." Then then it starts this downward spiral, right? And you're just like adding, removing, adding, removing so many input signals when you don't even have a proper ad budget yet, right? So, it cannot work. And the moment something gets some clicks, you remove it already, and the algorithm is just like stop and go, stop and go, right?

Like it it cannot work. So, that's why in the beginning, start with a really well-optimized setup, and then lean back. You have to be more patient. When you start optimizing, it has to be based on genuine data, right? For example, if I remove a product, I'm like, "Okay, why am I removing it? It got 50 euro ad spend already, that's way over my CPA. That makes sense, right?" That's not based on emotion, that's like that's the data I have. Like, I cannot give it more ad spend, right? It's way over my CPA already, it didn't generate any sale. Okay, we're quite non-emotional about it, we cut it, and we make sure this ad spend goes to other products, right? So, that's that's the

8:52Principle 4 - It's a numbers game

difference. Now, we have it. My favorite principle number four is that Google Ads drop shipping is a numbers game, right? So, that's the principle. It is a numbers game. And what do we mean with that, and why do I put so much emphasis on it? Is because some of you guys, you know, like you launch one store, you have one batch of products, you launch some ads, it doesn't work, and you're like, "Ah, It doesn't work." Right? And of course, it's frustrating. Ideally, it picks up immediately, everything is going well, but that's rarely the case, cuz it constantly needs testing and adjustments, and especially if it doesn't work well directly.

And why do I say it's a numbers game? Because even with some of our biggest clients where we have 30, 40 stores with just one client, even there we see wildly different results, right? Even there we have some stores that are at 10k day, we have some that are at 30k day. Then we have some that cannot even get to like 1, 2k days quickly because there are a lot of variables, right? That's why it's not black and white, right? That's a very important truth to understand because a lot of you guys you have to thinking of like, oh this guy is doing 10k days, why am I not doing 10k days?

I have I do the same thing, right? No, it's not it's never the same thing, right? Like every new store, every new product you upload, it's always a clean sheet, right? The game always begins from scratch and that's why I'm saying like even with our bigger clients that have multiple stores, wildly different results sometimes, right? And that's normal, they know that because they understand it's a numbers game, right? That's why we have multiple stores in multiple markets with different product categories. If this doesn't work, we switch and try something completely different, right? It's a numbers game. That's super important to understand, that's the main main principle you need to understand.

And I'm not sure why I put it at the end today, but yeah, maybe we need to reward the patient ones and not give all the sauce away at the beginning of the video. Either way, that's it. Let me know if you have any questions on that principle specifically, drop it in the comments. Uh it's super important for me that you guys understand the principle of why it is a numbers game and why it matters so much for your drop shipping journey. Anyway, that's it for today. Four principles, the offer, keep it simple, data over emotion, and it's a numbers game, right? That's it for today, guys. See you in the next video. Adios.

Questions People Ask About This

How Much Should I Spend a Day as a Google Ads Dropshipping Beginner?

Chris does not give one number. He says most beginners spend around 50, 100 or 150 a day, and that in Google's eyes this is very little. It does not buy you much data. So keep the setup simple: good tracking, a small lean feed, and a few strong products, instead of thousands of products and many campaigns.

What Does Offer Mean in Dropshipping?

Chris says the offer is more than the product and the price. It is everything you offer and how you present it. That covers a desirable product for the season, a price that holds up on a price comparison platform, and anything that adds trust or removes risk, like 30-day easy returns, a size chart, free shipping, and upsells in the cart that lift order value.

When Should I Remove a Product from My Google Ads Store?

When the data says so, not your feelings. Chris warns against cutting a product after five clicks, because it might be a future winner and the stop and go confuses the algorithm. His example of a fair cut: the product spent 50 euros, way over your target cost per sale, with no sale. Then you cut it and move the spend to other products.

Why Does My Friend's Store Work When Mine Does Not?

Because it is a numbers game. Chris says even big clients running 30 or 40 stores see wildly different results. Some stores hit 10K days, some 30K days, and some struggle to reach 1 or 2K days. Every new store and every new product starts from a clean sheet. That is why serious operators run several stores in several markets and switch when one does not work.
