Is Google Shopping or Performance Max Better for Dropshipping?

The short answer
Start with Standard Shopping when you need control and little sales history, then move to Performance Max after clean tracking and real sales exist. A tiny budget starts on Search. At ZenoX, a full first test is 50 euros a day for 30 days, which gives us a signal to judge.
Start With the Control You Need
Some stores start with Standard Shopping because it gives them more control over a small budget. Early results are also easier to read when the campaign has little conversion history. Use that phase to see which products attract buying searches and which spend without selling. Keep the product data accurate. Shopping still needs working conversion tracking and a clean feed. At ZenoX, a full first test is 50 euros a day for 30 days. The sales and tracking from that test help us judge whether PMax is ready.
Move to PMax When the Inputs Are Ready
Move to Performance Max after real conversion data exists. It shows products to people who are ready to buy. It can also place ads on YouTube, Gmail, and other Google apps, using past sales to guide bids. At ZenoX, we only trust that reach when tracking is accurate and Merchant Center has a clean feed. Bad inputs make automated bidding repeat the same mistake in more places. Some stores run Shopping and PMax together once enough data exists. For a tiny budget, start with Search. That sits outside this feed comparison.
