What Is Slow Drip Upload?
Also written as slow drip, GMC slow drip, drip feed upload.
Definition
A slow drip upload is adding products to Merchant Center in small daily batches, instead of dumping the whole catalog on day one. For an ecommerce store, especially a new dropshipping shop, this gives Google time to check each batch and lowers the chance of a misrepresentation review.

Slow Drip Upload, Explained
A new shop with a young domain, a big catalog, and thin product pages hits three flags at once. Upload 800 SKUs on day one and Merchant Center can read that as a store that appeared overnight. The slow drip removes the huge-dump signal. You upload a small clean batch, wait, check for disapprovals, then add the next batch.
Our house cadence is about 20 to 50 products a day for the first one to two weeks, then faster if the account stays clean. Policies come first: shipping, returns, contact, and privacy pages should be live before any product lands. If a batch comes back with issues, fix those before you add more.
The mistake is letting Shopify auto-sync push the whole catalog while you think you are dripping. Turn that auto-push off, or you are not dripping at all. The other mistake is dripping forever on a catalog of thousands of SKUs. At that size the calendar math breaks, and you need a different approval plan. For a smaller catalog, drip, confirm the batch is clean, then continue.
How We Use It at ZenoX
We slow-drip new dropshipping stores: small daily batches into Merchant Center, not the whole catalog on day one. We run 200+ ecom accounts this way. We start ads on feed-only Performance Max only after products are approved. If a batch is flagged, we pause the next upload and fix the feed first.
Questions People Ask About Slow Drip Upload
What Is a Slow Drip Upload in Google Merchant Center?
It means you add products in small daily batches instead of uploading the whole catalog at once. Our typical start is about 20 to 50 SKUs a day while Merchant Center checks each batch. You are not hiding products. You are giving Merchant Center time to check each batch before the next one lands.
How Many Products Should I Upload per Day to Merchant Center?
For a new store, start small, around 20 to 50 a day, and only speed up if the last batch stayed clean. If anything is disapproved, fix it before the next batch. Do not let Shopify auto-sync dump the rest overnight. That one setting can undo the whole drip.
