Google Ads for Luxury
A Luxury Marketing Agency Is Two Jobs. We Do the Google Ads Half
Brand agencies build the dream. We make the dream sell on Google. If you need the film, the shoot and the press, hire a creative shop. If you need the store to sell what the brand already promises, that is the auction, and the auction is brutal at a high AOV. Few orders, expensive clicks, and a broad category search that drags in shoppers who were never buying at your price. Feed first, structure second, tracking third, bids last.

Written by Christopher Krassnig, Founder & CEO of ZenoX Media. Updated . Runs Google Ads for 200+ ecom brands. Everything on this page comes from those accounts.
What Does a Luxury Marketing Agency Actually Do?
A luxury marketing agency is one of two different jobs wearing one name. One builds the brand: the photography and film, how the store looks, the press it gets. The other makes that brand sell on paid channels. If you are searching for the first one, a Google Ads agency is the wrong hire, and the rest of this page explains which half is which.
That second half is what ZenoX Media does, and we sell it, so weigh that. The checkable part: 200+ ecom brands across 12+ niches, €200M+ in client revenue generated, a senior operator on every account, 4.8 from 38 reviews on Trustpilot, and a fee published before you talk to us. It starts at 10% of your first €10,000 a month and falls to 6% above €150,000, with each rate hitting only the money inside its own bracket. No setup fee, no markup on your budget, no lock-in.
The honest edge, and the reason this page exists: if your photography, your price story or your product page are not ready, no bidder can save you. Google Shopping is a photo grid with prices under it. A creative shop fixes that half. We fix the auction half. Most luxury brands end up paying for both.
What changes once the AOV is high: few orders, so Smart Bidding learns on scraps. Expensive clicks, so one bad search term eats a day of budget.
Why Luxury Google Ads Punishes Every Sloppy Click
Few Orders Means Smart Bidding Learns on Scraps
Smart Bidding learns from how many orders you get, and it ignores how big they are. At four figures a piece, the same revenue arrives in a few orders instead of hundreds, so the algorithm is learning on scraps. It bids nervously, holds you out of auctions, and takes weeks to settle after any change. Feed it signals it can actually count, like add-to-cart and high-intent page views, as secondary conversions. Then change one thing at a time. On thin order volume you cannot read two changes at once.
One Broad Search Term Eats a Day of Budget
"Gold watch". "Designer sunglasses". "Silk dress". The person typing that is usually shopping a much cheaper bracket. Your photo looks close enough to earn the click, they see the price, they leave. And the click is expensive, because everyone in that auction is chasing the same buyer. On a €30 catalog a junk search term is something you spot at month end. Here it is today's budget gone. Worse, Smart Bidding logs those clicks as interest and hunts for more. Search-term review is a weekly job in luxury, and the fix sits in the feed and the negatives, never in the bid.
The Hero Piece Carries the Account and the Tail Starves It
Our published Pareto study measured 106,400 products across 137 stores. In the fashion sample, the top 1% of products drove 45.2% of all Google Ads revenue, and 71.7% of products with ad spend sold nothing at all in their 30-day window. That study covered fashion and home decor. We have no published luxury figure, so treat those as the shape of the curve rather than your own number. The curve is still what bites you here: one campaign holding the whole catalog gives your hero piece the same treatment as the dead tail. Margin-tier custom labels split them, so the piece paying for the account bids against its own target.
Dupe and Homage Language Can End the Account
Counterfeit is one of the few Google policies that suspends an account with no warning shot. These terms pull real search volume and they are the fastest way to lose the whole channel. They come out of titles, descriptions, keywords and ad copy on day one. The product gets described by what it is instead: material, movement, cut, size, certification.
- "Rolex homage", "Submariner style", "Cartier inspired" - any rival brand name used as a style label
- "Dupe", "replica", "lookalike", "inspired by" - all read as counterfeit signals
- Rival model names sitting in your product titles to catch their search volume
- Trademarked collection names in ad copy you have no licence to use
Grey-Market Resellers Bidding on Your Own Brand Name
Marketplaces and unauthorised sellers bid on your brand term with big budgets and thin margins. The buyer searching your name lands on a listing you do not control, at a price you never set. You cannot delete them. You can outrank them, and that needs structure: your brand term running as its own Search campaign, with your copy and your price, plus trademark complaints filed against anyone using your mark in their ad text.
A Repriced Catalog Breaks the Feed Quietly
Luxury reprices. FX moves, metal moves, a season closes, a price policy changes. The store updates, the scheduled feed fetch runs hours later, Google recrawls the landing page in between, finds two different numbers, and pulls the item. One-of-one pieces hit the same wall on availability. Sync the fetch to your repricing runs instead of appealing after the fact.
A Six-Week Decision Measured on a Seven-Day Window
Nobody impulse-buys at four figures. People click, leave, read reviews, ask a partner, and come back. A seven-day window can miss that sale. The working campaign then reads as dead and gets cut. A client-side pixel loses more returning visits. Smart Bidding sees only part of the account. The wrong campaign gets scaled and the right one gets paused.
Weak Photography Loses the Auction Before Any Bid Matters
Shopping shows your €2,000 piece at the same size as a €200 one, side by side, with the prices underneath. If your image is dim, cropped tight, or shot on a busy background, the shopper picks the other one and the price gap becomes an argument you never got to make. No bidding strategy fixes a bad photo. This is the one place where the creative shop's half of the job decides whether our half can work at all.
Why ZenoX for luxury Google Ads
We Only Do the Half We Are Good At
We do not make brand films, run press, or fill a social calendar. Google Ads is our half. So we start where the money is stuck, which is almost always the feed. Margin tiers go in first as custom labels, so the piece carrying the account stops competing with the tail for the same budget. Titles get rebuilt around what a luxury buyer types: material, movement, model reference, case size, certification. Item-group IDs collapse size and colour variants into one product that learns as one instead of thirty products learning from nothing. Then the search terms get read every week, because at this AOV one junk term is a day of budget.
Then measurement, because a high AOV lies to you on a short window. Conversion windows get sized to the real decision, which runs weeks rather than days, and server-side tracking through the ZenoX Shopify app stops the returning visits from vanishing. Policy work runs continuously: homage and dupe language stripped, price and availability kept in step with a catalog that reprices, authenticity claims written the same way in the feed and on the page. We run 200+ ecom brands across 12+ niches. Those brands generated €200M+ in client revenue. A senior operator runs every account. Trustpilot rates us 4.8 from 38 reviews. Fees are published before you speak to us. They run from 10% down to 6%, with no setup fee, budget markup or lock-in.
